Wrapchic, Milton Keynes – Review

In a nutshell, Wrapchic serve absolutely outstanding ‘IndiExican’ street food, which is not only stylish and authentic, but healthy and fast.

Wandering around Milton Keynes’ huge Centre MK shopping mall on an empty stomach is something I wouldn’t advise, but it does calls for the perfect excuse to go for something to eat. We didn’t want a boring sandwich or a McDonalds, but we did want something a bit different with good value for money, so Wrapchic was an obvious option. Who doesn’t love the idea of Indian and Mexican fusion food? Located in the food court area of the mall, it stands out immediately with its striking street truck, which gives it another element of vibrancy and authenticity. You just can’t miss it! They are in 12 locations all over England, so visit their website to find one near you!

The staff are friendly, and let us try samples of their vegetarian options before proceeding with the order, which just made us all that more spoilt for choice! Their passion and enthusiasm for the food was something that is rarely found these days with chains and corporations located everywhere you go, so it was refreshing to find in the busy Milton Keynes centre.

The order style resembles that of Subway, you choose the style, from nachos to enchiladas then choose your fillings, toppings and sauces from a wide range of options. We went with the soya amritsari and paneer masala burritos. For vegetarians or vegans, this place is a must, but see their menu for more details on their range of meat options. Everything is prepared without being shoved in a deep fat fryer, so they’re actually a great healthy alternative to your regular fast-food place, and in the same price range too!

Paneer Masala & Soya Amritsari Burritos with black and kidney beans, brown rice and pineapple and chilli chutneys – loaded with gorgeous flavour and spice!

If you can’t stop and eat in their colourful seating area, take your food away and enjoy it on the go, but prepared to get extra messy so don’t forget the tissues!

Give them a like & follow on Twitter & Facebook and keep up to date with their new locations opening. If you like adventurous food, you have to try Wrapchic, it just doesn’t disappoint!
